Last month, we packed up our bags and headed to Las Vegas for the 26th Annual Nightclub & Bar Convention. We look forward to this every year, not just because its Vegas. We also look forward to seeing many of the unique products that help us get our drink on. Of course, it is Vegas!
This year’s show was filled with nightly parties at the Strip’s best nightclubs, a full education program for bar owners & staff, the Shake It Up Cocktail Competition, and hundreds of bar & nightclub related vendors.
For us the main attraction is always the Trade Show Floor; there is almost no better way to spend an afternoon. (Did we mention we were in Las Vegas?) The amazing array of bar and nightclub related products is almost overwhelming. The show covers everything from liquor (duh) to CPR aides—yep, just in case. We saw strippers, booth babes and plenty of booze. This years show even featured a special aisle just for tequila. That was fun!
Some of our show favorites? Adult chocolate milk, lounge attire, cocktail cranberries, and perfect purée. We saw innovative POS products that utilize iPads and smartphones, an addicting bar-trivia game utilizing texts, Fomz, a zero gravity fruit topping and, of course, energy drinks.
