Well as Summer is ending and the Fall season is nearing, this cocktail lends the transition to both. Japanese Sencha Greentea pairs very nicely with whiskey and has a very refined taste. The mint hits at the end with a nice lingering finish and the lemon just brings it all together.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Yamazaki 12yr Whiskey
  • 1.5oz Homemade Sencha greentea mint syrup. (Enrich Loose leaf Sencha was used)
  • 3/4oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Glass: Rocks
  • Garnish: Mint Sprig

Instructions

Combine all ingredients into a pint glass, add 4 ice cubes and shake moderately. Strain over new ice and add mint sprig garnish
