This holiday cocktail will bring you some cheer! Made with Glenfiddich 12 and homemade cinnamon syrup it warms you up even though it’s a cold cocktail. The aroma is festive!

You can use your favorite single malt, but a nice smooth one with mild peat goes best with these ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz scotch
  • ¾ oz cinnamon syrup
  • ½ oz Meyer lemon juice
  • 2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters

Instructions

Combine ingredients in a shaker full of ice and shake for 15–20 seconds. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired.
