Pineapple and cilantro is an intriguing flavor combination that really tickled my taste buds. This light and fruity cocktail made with infused water is just the thing for hot August weather. Also, it’s low-calorie and hydrating … with no added sugar!
I got this recipe from a Tales of the Cocktail presentation on H2O cocktails by Kathy Casey and Tony Abou-Ganim. (You can read more about this water cocktail concept and get another recipe from my previous post.)
Ingredients:
1 oz Ciroc or Purity Vodka
3 oz Pineapple Cilantro Water*
Directions:
Serve the vodka mixed with the Pineapple Cilantro Water— either shaken/stirred and served strained or just combined over ice. Garnish with pineapple or cilantro.
*Pineapple Cilantro Water
Makes about 4 cups or about 10 servings
Ingredients:
2 cups 1/4″ diced pineapple
6 sprigs cilantro
1 tsp chopped ginger
4 cups high-quality water
Directions:
Combine the ingredients in a glass pitcher and let sit, refrigerated, for at least 4 hours—or preferably overnight, before serving.
