This sweet, autumn variation on a Manhattan is the perfect drink to sip by the fireplace. It takes a little DIY effort, but it’s worth it.
Make some fig bourbon for this tipple, and if you’re really feeling like a mixologist, make the bitters yourself, too. Dubonnet is an aperitif much like sweet vermouth, and it can be found in most liquor stores.

2 parts fig-infused bourbon
1 part Dubonnet
2 dashes cherry bitters
Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
