This drink, created by Marshall Altier, is a variation of a Chares H Baker drink called Daisy de Santiago. Obeah is Trinin witchcraft and a play on the Strega (Italian for witch” float. It’s a lot more interesting with the Falernum and Strega combo hitting your senses. It’s easy to replicate.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Denizen Rum
  • 1oz. Lime Juice
  • ½ oz. Cane Syrup
  • ¼ oz. Velvet Falernum
  • ¾ oz. Strega Liqueur

Instructions

Shake all ingredients, except Strega, DRY without ice. Pour into a pilsner glass and fill with crushed ice and swizzle.
“Float” ¾ oz Strega.
Garnish lavishly with fresh mint sprigs.
