We recently received a bottle of Absolut Miami, which is the 6th edition in the Absolut City Series. I absolutely loved the bottle upon seeing it. From the Art Deco building on the back to the palm tree, flamingo and rising sun on the front, the bottle sums up Miami. The Absolut Miami screams cool and fun.
Not only did I really like the bottle upon seeing it, I really liked the aroma of the Absolut Miami upon opening it. HInts of orange, orange blossom and passion fruit wafted. Yum! My mind immediately raced to drinks incorporating the Absolut Miami. Cosmos and Martini’s, oh my! We also liked the Absolut Miami when we tried it and thought that it would jazz up a drink and bring nice tropical notes to an evening of imbibing.
By the end, I was wishing for a trip to Miami!
The tasting note for Absolut Miami:
Appearance: Bright, crystal clear, colorless with viscous legs.
Aroma: Clean, unaged with a medium intensity of lemon, orange, tangerine, passion fruit, orange blossom and white flowers.
Palate: Off-dry with some texture, medium body with some viscosity, medium plus intensity of tangerine, passion fruit and orange blossom with hints of lemon, orange and white flowers. Medium, clean finish.
Rating: Good. The Absolut Miami will be great in a Cosmo, a tropical Creamsicle or Martini.
